An incredible wilderness fishing experience with North to Adventure

You will have three days of wilderness fishing on an American Plan at Lodge Eighty Eight with North to Adventure. Your hosts, the MacLachlan's have been arranging quality fly-in and train-in wilderness trips since 1959.

You will find Lodge Eighty Eight on the southern shore of beautiful Esnagi Lake and next to the Chapleau Game Preserve in Northern Ontario. Lodge Eighty Eight is North to Adventure's newest wilderness lodge, offering a magnificent wilderness experience. That remote setting, first-rate accommodation, top-notch equipment, famous service and awesome fishing add up to a get-away you will be telling folks about for years to come.

West of the Mississippi
Three days of Tyee Salmon fishing in Campbell River, BC on September 1, 2, and 3 with world renowned guide, Randy Killoran, in a Hilmark Tyee Fishing Boat.

Tyee Salmon Fishing is truly a unique, west coast experience. Tyee salmon are spring or chinook salmon weighing in at over 30lbs. Campbell River is the Salmon and Tyee Capital of the world. Now landing one of these may seem like enough of a challenge, but it's only just beginning. Tyee fishing is steeped in tradition. Your guide, Randy Killoran, will row you through the Tyee pools at the mouth of the Campbell River in a Hilmark Tyee Rowboat. No motors are allowed, just the sound of the oars, the whirl of your reel, and words of encouragement from your guide. And if you happen to get that strike, it will be up to you to land your prize in the boat. And remember, if it's over 30lbs, you have landed a Tyee salmon. If it is a Tyee salmon, caught in these traditional methods, you will now have membership in the renowned Tyee Club of British Columbia.

The Tyee Club of British Columbia - In the summer of 1924, three angler buddies were in the Willows Hotel in Campbell River and came up with the idea of forming a club to honour, celebrate, and protect the Tyee Salmon and standardize the sport of salmon fishing in BC. They modelled their idea along the lines of the famous Tuna Club of Catalina Island in California. Today, the membership roster is truly impressive. Hilford was rowed into the Tyee Club of BC on September 12, 2003, with a 38 1/2 pound Tyee salmon. And you could have the opportunity of your name included into the membership as well.

(note: the fishing trip is for one person , fishing only. Licenses, hotels, accommodations, meals, and travel are the responsibility of the winner. Extra guest are welcome but at the expense of that person.)

A little about Randy Killoran:

• Randy Killoran has been guiding Tyee salmon fishing since 1982.
• Currently, he is the most active Tyee guide and has been for 7 years, devoting 7 consecutive weeks every season.
• He has guided for the most first Tyee of the season at eight fish,
• He has guided for the first Tyee for the past 5 seasons in a row.
• Randy has guided the largest Tyee of the season three times since 1999, 2 of which were in the past 3 seasons
• Has guided the most Tyee in a season twice
• Has won a total of 8 Tyee Club trophies awarded to guides
• Has guided clients to Tyee that have won a total of 15 Tyee Club trophies
